(1964) is a self taught artist well known for his sports paintings. In this exhibition he has captured two different scenes, one of Thaipusam in Batu caves and the other of the "Garbha" dance at the Lakshmi Narayan Temple in Kuala Lumpur. In the painting of Thaipusam he portrays the sombre mood of the lone milk carrier making his journey towards the steps leading to the main shrine in Batu Caves. The paintings of the "Garbha" dance exemplify the excitement and colourful vibrancy of the dancers.
