(1974) graduated with a Diploma in Fine Art from the Malaysian Institute of Art (MIA) in 1994. His pencil on paper works in this exhibition have been drawn following his trips to Bali and Angkor. He continues his anthropological based art with sandstone sculptures in the temples there providing the inspiration for the works. He has attempted to capture the mood and the spirit of the sculptures he saw by going "back to basics" in drawing and the use of fine details.
