Lai Loong Sung
(1944) graduated with a Diploma in Fine Art from the Kuala Lumpur College of Art (KLCA) in 1970. He forsakes colour completely. His expressive use of line, free of hue is fueled with an instinctively emotional strain where he seems to take a single line for a walk ... an extremely frenzied walk which captures the eye, taking us on a journey through the sound, smell, movement and atmosphere of place and ritual.
