(1972) graduated with a Diploma in Fine Art from the Malaysian Institute of Art (MIA) in 1993 and Bachelor of Arts (Hons) in Fine Art from the Surrey Institute of Art and Design in 2001. He yields the line with expert ease. Detail is captured without verve being specific and then over-washed with earthy browns and reds, siennas and umbers that are juxtaposed with grand drama against broad passages of wide open spaces of the paper itself. With distinctive economy of line, the artist still manages to create an impressive sense of space that draws you into the inner sanctum of the temple.
